Confirming their excellence, Boutari wines won 12 medals in the 3rd International Wine Competition in Thessaloniki. It was a great honor for Boutari Company to receive five (5) Gold, six (6) Silver and one Bronze medal!
The 3rd International Wine Competition took place from 12 February -14 February 2003, in Thessaloniki, within the framework of the International Food and Beverage Exhibition DETROP.
Gold Medals were awarded to GRANDE RESERVE NAOUSA BOUTARI 1997, GRANDE RESERVE NAOUSA BOUTARI 1998, SKALANI BOUTARI 2001, FANTAXOMETOCHO WHITE ESTATE BOUTARI 2002, ΚRITIKOS RED BOUTARI 2001.
Silver Medals were awarded to ODI BOUTARI 2000, NAOUSA BOUTARI 2000, NAOUSA BOUTARI 1990, ESTATE MATSA 2002, MALAGOUZIA 2002, AGIORGITIKO BOUTARI 2001 while CAVA CAMBAS 1999 received a Bronze Medal.
The huge success of the competition as regards participation numbers, organisation, and the distinctions given to Greek wines, contributes significantly to the increased recognition of Greek wines globally.
